I am looking for things that are hidden, secretively and uncannily, within the ordinary. The unseen but present, the worthless, the faulty, the unnoticed – I move them into the light and ask what they have to say. Something seemingly banal transforms into something special through repetition, staging of decay and questionable processing of materials. In conversation with the room, I adapt the exhibited objects and arrangements. Different spaces and circumstances may generate completely different meanings of everything and everyone that is put into them. I am interested in this infinite interaction between space, material, and perception. For a tiny moment, realities grow, crumble and disappear again into illusion.
